This is so mad that after the epic war between Israel Adesanya and Kelvin Gastelum, this battle took place.
I mean, come to think of it, I believe that 236 probably has the largest combo of main and co-main events, particularly that these two are imo FOTY caliber fights.
How Dustin would clinch to stop Holloway’s momentum was one thing that I liked about this fight. It’s never good for the other guy once Max gets moving with his combos, so by clinching, he’d force Max to reset and start again. In this shot, you can see him doing it.
I have a serious question about why do guys like Max make clean movements or taunts after getting hit? Like I understand keeping a poker face and showing your opponent that it doesn’t work with whatever they hit you with, but wouldn’t that just tell Dustin he’s landing clean and powerful shots?
Such an amazing fight. Whenever Max was about to drown DP with volume, it seemed that a big shot held him at bay.
Such a pretty good fight
At about 200 pounds, Dustin came in and wrestled him in sumo style.
This struggle was such an amazing example of how to deal with volume/rhythm fighters and how important it is not to let them go.
It’s not that Max was shut down completely by Dustin, but he did enough to never let the train get out of control.

Yeah, I remembered the title bar in another way. Why was the champion stylized as Holloway? Here he was not defending his belt.
This is how I thought the war with Kattar would go… dumb… stupid.
Max Holloway really has a chin at the level of Mark Hunt, the man can eat some shots
#** Blood for the God of Blood*
For those not conscious, Max says, “come on motherfucker”
