  1. One of history’s most underappreciated fighters. Everyone talks about GSP, Jones, Khabib, and Silva as the sport’s Goats, but no one ever mentions this man. So underappreciated

  2. I don’t care what anyone thinks about him; he was always entertaining to watch. It’s a shame he didn’t get the credit he deserved.

  3. Is anybody else frustrated by the fact that they just get the slow-motion playback? It’s understandable that seeing things in slow motion is appealing, but it should be done in both normal and slow motion.

  4. The fact that mma fans didn’t find *this guy* exciting is a huge indictment of the sport. Cejudo is becoming more well-known as a result of his inane nonsense.

  5. It’s known as the super-heimlich maneuver. People who don’t know how to completely swallow and don’t pay their bill have a lot of fun doing this. This is a dangerous mix.

  6. Demetrious Johnson is one of the all-time great pound-for-pound fighters.

Do you think he drilled this a few times?

Consider yourself as his training partner.

  7. Everyone’s grandmother and dog would have this clip incinerated in their heads if Borg had tapped instantly instead of hanging on for dear life.

  8. I’m not taking anything away from this because it’s fucking poetry, so if you liked it, you should see Rio Chonan sub Anderson Silva.

  9. It’s incredible. Long before either of them reaches the deck, he’s barely done applying the force for the slam and his body is already preparing itself for the arm bar.

  10. Every time I see it, it gets better. This relates to Ryan Hall’s remarks on Lex Friedman’s show. If you can move to an attack while your opponent is still in the air, you can be certain the attack will be effective. What would he do now? He’s walked away from the fucking ground.

  11. This is the greatest submission in the history of the UFC. Others have made a bigger impact because of their celebrity, but this is by far the best demonstration of ELITE technique and skill I’ve ever seen.

  12. I don’t mind if this is reposted many times. .

It makes me want to leap out of my chair in excitement and marvel at how beautiful MMA can be.

  13. In an MMA fight, this is arguably the greatest move ever pulled off.

The greatest submission would go to DJ, and the greatest KO would go to Yair’s elbow. Both are full-fledged movie shite.

  14. At first, I thought this sub was overrated. After he hit the ground, I believe he caught his shoulder. In slow motion, though, I can see him grabbing his arm in mid-fuckin-air. That is, without a doubt, the greatest sub of all time.
