  1. Running is tedious as hell, as Derrick points out. That said, I don’t see how using a stairmaster or an elliptical is any easier, haha.

    Bag training is the best type of cardio for MMA, according to Firas, since it is not only easier on the joints, but also more applicable to what you’re doing. It’s also a lot less dull, in my opinion.

  2. I understand that Derick’s whole life revolves around playing possum. Imagine becoming a professional MMA fighter who lacks the drive to do cardio.

    Imagine being on the verge of competing in your weight division’s best fight, but somehow lacking the drive to do cardio.
